At Screenmedia Derek leads the conceptual creative and UI design for a variety of projects spanning mobile app, responsive web, eCommerce, connected products and peripheral technologies. A keen researcher and curator of best practice, his peerless knowledge of contemporary graphic and interface design continually impresses clients.
Having been a cornerstone of our design team for nearly ten years, Derek’s skills and capabilities range from small-scale design audits to defining and implementing enterprise-level design systems. No matter the challenge, Derek’s adherence to best practice and his leadership of the team ensures that our solutions are always functional, beautiful, and address real user needs.
Derek is deeply experienced in working with cross-disciplined teams to various methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. As comfortable talking to end-users and stakeholders as he is designers and developers; he is a highly adaptable design director who fits well into any client team.
